Last night in Melbourne, caught up with a work friend who just moved to a new job. Went to Sara Craft Ramen (Little Lonsdale St) & I had the Yuzu duck ramen (clear duck & dashi shoyu broth, yuzu, smoked duck breast, gobo chips, spring onion), and a chicken karaage with yuzu kosho mayo. #MelbourneEats #kai #food 🍜🍽️

Turkish eggs at Au79 (Abbotsford). Poached eggs with garlic yoghurt & charred tomato sauce, chickpeas, garlic honey sourdough. Plus a flat white. (Coffee art is obviously only for right-handed people.)

Sis took us to dinner at Village Wine Bar (Albert Park). We shared arancini & snapper crudo. I had the special, porchetta, pork belly on jus & pea puree(?) with rocket & fennel. Effortlessly delicious.

Linguine Di Mare at Brunetti Classico (Lygon St) :
Linguine with prawns, mussels, clams, calamari, cherry tomatoes, white wine, fresh parsley & garlic. Got there, decided I wanted something savory despite all the lovely sweet stuff on display.

Strozzi (Collins St) Gravlax: House made cured salmon, poached eggs, toasted brioche, sauteed chilli spinach, fried capers, blistered tomatoes, hollandaise. (Not listed but mine also had grapes). So good. Plus a flat white.

Premium Chu Cheong Fun (rice roll with fried tofu, fishballs, fried wonton, stuffed eggplant) with sweet sauce from Myth Cafe (Rosslyn St). The stuffed eggplant was greasy but otherwise good. The chilli sauce is serious. #MelbourneEats #kai #food 🍜🍽️
