Oki doki, SPL vol 5 done. The main story was a bit rushed and frankly, I couldn't be bothered with all the extras (16 extras! that's an overkill). Anyhoo, my thots here:

It's a live action adaptation of priest's novel, Da Ge. Trailer is in the quoted post. It has 12 episodes.

i can't decide if i want to make my new #oc a priest (specifically, one who's lost his faith but remained in the priesthood for Reasons)...... on the one hand, double the #priest clothing action alongside maurice hell yeah. on the other, maurice would respond completely differently to advances from a civilian versus a priest. i think with a priest he'd be way more reluctant to reciprocate than he normally is already, since there'd be this feeling of "on some level i expected better from you" (and also if this is set in the #hellsing context then "i don't want to risk looking as foolish as maxwell and anderson do to me" tbh lmao). so a civilian would be easier to be vicious yet loving with, but with a fellow priest... hmm..............

when i've shipped him with anderson there's been more...vulnerability? with a civilian (specifically a known atheist) it's easier to maintain distance since of course they'd never fully understand what his faith means to him, how it taught him to feel about himself. instead he has to find himself Perceived and Known without the shield of his religion and that's terrifying. but a fellow priest should understand at least part of what's driving him, part of why he's so ashamed of himself. and that's also terrifying.

both dynamics are good in different ways!!!! why is choosing so hard!!!!!!!
