I loved Sarah talking about her first fandom, and I was thrilled when the discussion turned to the way that <a href="https://federatedfandom.net/tags/fandom" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>fandom</span></a> grows in the cracks of canon. </p><p>Messy canons make for the best fandoms! I may love to watch those tightly-written, perfectly-scripted prestige TV shows, but they don't have any fannish launching pads.
