Watching and hi, I ship it (Hao Du/Wei Shuyu).

At a stone table on a veranda, Wei Shuyu is getting drunk. Hao Du stands very upright beside the table, scowling at him. Wei Shuyu says, "I know. You despise me."
The same scene. Hao Du is now clenching his fists at his sides. Wei Shuyu is leaning on one elbow and says, "Hao Du, I feel sorry for you."

Wei Shuyu should feel bad at this point, tbh, and he should get drunk in the sticks and antagonise Hao Du about it. They ought to keep ramping up this angry rivalry UST until they find Princess Yueyan (whom they have lost to people-traffickers), and then it can break and she can have two boyfriends.

Hao Du looks down at Wei Shuyu, furious. He says, "Wei Shuyu, if you dare talk any rubbish again, I won't be polite."
Wei Shuyu looks up at Hao Du, looking drunk and miserable. He says, "Hit me."
Hao Du has just swiped the wine jar out of Wei Shuyu's hand—offscreen, it is flying away to shatter against the paving slabs. Wei Shuyu's hand is still raised where he was holding it.
The remaining wine jar on the table has toppled over and lies on its side. Hao Du has grabbed the very drunk Wei Shuyu and thrown one of Shuyu's arms over his own shoulder. He is marching him back into the building, supporting most of his body weight.
